Introduction

This website documents the story of the southern town of Mais al-Jabal, which has endured wars and displacement for an entire century — from the Nakba in 1948, to the Flood of al-Aqsa in 2023, and the Battle of Awli al-Ba’s in 2024. Despite all the destruction, the people of Mais al-Jabal continue to return, rebuild, and resist with steadfastness.
